As advances in society continue so does the damage on our environment. Information from Our World Data showcases a few scenarios that are likely to occur if there are not barriers in place. For example, if no climate policies are in place then the Earth will warm around 4.8 degrees celsius. Another scenario given is if we keep the increasing temperature at a steady 1.5 degrees celsius. This second scenario would require urgent efforts to maintain the increase in temperature. Bottom line is, if we keep going on the track that we are then the Earth will unfortunately continue to rise and our efforts will become futile at some point.
